Organizational Development
Organization Development (OD) is a harmony between systems / processes as well as human behavior (behavioral sciences) so that the organization as a whole delivers high efficiency and results with motivated employees. Two key terms stand out in any Organizational Development effort - Culture & Change. Consultants work with various parts (leadership team, groups and individuals) of the organization as an interrelated system.
OD consultants are different from management consultants in that our "client" is the total organization, not just the management team. A simple outline of the OD phases can be seen below:
